Surrounded by countryside, including Wilstead woods which we can say from first hand experience, is a great place for a Sunday stroll. We often venture over here after a roast dinner! Several churches are present in Wilstead, including the historic 14th Century All Saints Church.

What would a traditional village be without a traditional village pub? Well, Wilstead has 2 to choose from. The Woolpack is a newly refurbished family run pub with lots of events including pub quizzes, BBQs and Live sports. The food is fantastic, we are quite partial to a cheeky breakfast here! The Red Lion is just over the road and boasts a nice beer garden, pub food and is ideal if you want a game of pool with friends. Both are a great meeting spot to get to know the friendly local community.

Local shops include a post office, a chemist, a convenience store and some take away shops. Wilstead primary school is rated Good and is in the heart of the village, right next to Wilstead village hall.

If you're keen on horse riding, there are equestrian services here in WIlstead and due to the country setting, the rides are spectacular! In fact, all wildlife fans will enjoy the surrounding areas of Wilstead and we strongly recommend visiting the village on a warm sunny day.
